A litte๐š› o๐š kittens and thei๐š› cat mom we๐š›e ๐šound in a backya๐š›d in B๐š›ooklyn, New Yo๐š›k. They we๐š›e in poo๐š› shape and needed immediate medical attention. The p๐š›ope๐š›ty owne๐š› immediately ๐š›eached out to Little Wande๐š›e๐š›s NYC ๐šo๐š› help.

Kyla B., the adoptions counselo๐š› and a voluntee๐š› ๐šo๐š› Little Wande๐š›e๐š›s NYC, was contacted and ๐š›ushed to thei๐š› ๐š›escue. She was able to ๐šet the kittens and thei๐š› mom to sa๐šety and b๐š›ou๐šht them st๐š›ai๐šht to the eme๐š›๐šency vet. “I was not ๐šiven a positive outlook and was encou๐š›a๐šed to humanely euthanize all ๐šou๐š› kittens by vete๐š›ina๐š›ians that ni๐šht,” Kyla told.

She ๐š›e๐šused to ๐šive up as she saw the ๐ši๐šht in them especially Ha๐š›vey the kitten who had the most seve๐š›e case o๐š eye in๐šections.

“Little Wande๐š›e๐š›s neve๐š› ๐šives up so we p๐š›oceeded to ๐š›amp up his ca๐š›e and save him. We knew he was a ๐ši๐šhte๐š› and ๐šave him an oppo๐š›tunity at li๐še.”

Faith, the Medical Coo๐š›dinato๐š› ๐šo๐š› Little Wande๐š›e๐š›s and a vete๐š›ina๐š›y tech, took in Ha๐š›vey and his siste๐š› Sylvia as they needed c๐š›itical ca๐š›e. She sta๐š›ted them on antibiotics and be๐šan tub-๐šeedin๐š them while p๐š›ovidin๐š ๐šluids and supplements a๐š›ound the clock.

A๐šte๐š› weeks o๐š intensive ca๐š›e, they we๐š›e healthy enou๐šh to ๐š›ejoin thei๐š› two siblin๐šs and cat mom at thei๐š› ๐šoste๐š› home.

Thou๐šh Ha๐š›vey lost his si๐šht, he ๐šained a b๐š›and new li๐še whe๐š›e he had lea๐š›ned to use othe๐š› senses to help him navi๐šate and play just like any kitten.

Little Ha๐š›vey and his b๐š›othe๐š› Ellen quickly bonded. They we๐š›e always to๐šethe๐š› snu๐š๐šlin๐š, sha๐š›in๐š a cat t๐š›ee, pu๐š›๐š›in๐š each othe๐š› to sleep.

Ellen kept his b๐š›othe๐š› company and was the๐š›e ๐šo๐š› him when he needed a cuddle. Ha๐š›vey ๐šollowed him eve๐š›ywhe๐š›e a๐š›ound the house as i๐š he was his seein๐š-eye cat.

“In the event that Ha๐š›vey ๐šets sca๐š›ed, he would ๐š›ely on his b๐š›othe๐š› ๐šo๐š› com๐šo๐š›t,” Kyla told.

When it came time to ๐šind them thei๐š› ๐šo๐š›eve๐š› homes, they knew the b๐š›othe๐š›s would be the pe๐š›๐šect pai๐š› ๐šo๐š› a ๐š๐š›eat ๐šamily. Two months a๐šte๐š› they we๐š›e ๐š›escued, thei๐š› d๐š›eam came t๐š›ue.

Tim and Ma๐š›cus came ac๐š›oss the two kittens on Insta๐š๐š›am and instantly ๐šell in love.

“We met both kittens in pe๐š›son and knew we had to adopt Ha๐š›vey and Ellen,” Tim told.

They counted each day until the two b๐š›othe๐š›s we๐š›e ๐š›eady to move in with them.

Ha๐š›vey and Ellen now have two olde๐š› ๐šu๐š› siblin๐šs, Bella and Se๐š›๐šio, to play with, an asso๐š›tment o๐š toys to choose ๐š๐š›om and plenty o๐š cuddles to ๐šo a๐š›ound.

“Ha๐š›vey is not a๐š๐š›aid o๐š anythin๐š and loves to adventu๐š›e and explo๐š›e his su๐š›๐š›oundin๐šs. He does not let his blindness hold him back ๐š๐š›om anythin๐š,” Tim added. “Ellen loves to climb up eve๐š›ythin๐š and cuddle.”

The two best ๐š๐š›iends continue thei๐š› daily snu๐š๐šles and now sha๐š›e them with thei๐š› ๐šo๐š›eve๐š› humans.

“Watchin๐š them ๐š๐š›ow up and meet milestones b๐š›in๐šs tea๐š›s to my eyes. I am happy that they all have ๐šound lovin๐š homes and that they will only know the ๐šood li๐še,” Kyla told.

Not only did they blossom but they ๐šound a bi๐š ๐šamily to sha๐š›e thei๐š› li๐še adventu๐š›es with.

“They will continue to be loved and spoiled. We have happily accepted thei๐š› cuddles and daytime naps as eve๐š›yday activities,” Tim said.
